If you want to import your Cozi Calendar into FamilyWall, you don’t have to re-enter all of your appointments. Instead, use your Cozi Calendar URL to import them into FamilyWall. It’s not a one-click button but there’s a wizard that’ll walk you through the steps.

Note: This import process creates a snapshot of your existing events in the Cozi calendar at the time of import. Any updates or new events added to your Cozi calendar after the import will not be automatically synced with the FamilyWall calendar. To keep your calendar up-to-date with ongoing changes, you can subscribe to the Cozi calendar in FamilyWall (available for Premium users only). Please note that this subscription will be in read-only mode, meaning you will not be able to edit the events in FamilyWall.

Step 1: Export Your Calendar from Cozi:

From a mobile device (via the Cozi app):

1. Open the Cozi app on your device.

2. Tap on the Family tab on the bottom bar (on iOS) or on the Menu icon on the top left corner (on Android).

   
   

   

   
   

3. Tap on Settings button just below the name of your family / group

   
   

   

   
   

4. Press the Shared Cozi Calendars entry

   
   

   

   
   

5. Select the calendar you want to export (either the one covering all the events in the family or the one linked to a particular member).

   
   

   

   
   

6. Press the View or send cozy URL button

   
   

   

   
   

7. Press the Copy Cozi URL button

   
   

   

   
   

From the desktop (via the https://my.cozi.com website):

1. Go to my.cozi.com and log in with your credentials

2. From the menu on the left, go to the Settings section

   
   

   

   
   

3. Click on Shared Cozi Calendars entry

   
   

   

   
   

4. Select the calendar you want to export (either the one including all the events in the family or the one linked to a particular member).

   
   

   

   
   

5. Then, press the View or send cozy URL button

   
   

   

   
   

6. Press the Copy Cozi URL button

   
   

   

   
   

Step 2: Import Your Calendar into FamilyWall

Note: For free users, the maximum number of events which could be imported this way is limited to 30. If the calendar you want to import has more than 30 events, only the first 30 will be imported.

From a mobile device (via the FamilyWall app):

1. Open the FamilyWall app on your device.
2. Go to the Calendar section.
3. Tap on the a gear-shaped icon in the top right-hand corner
4. Press the Import events from ICS button
5. Press the Via URL option
6. Paste the URL you copied from Cozi and press the Import button
7. A preview is displayed so you can check the content before everything is imported.
8. Press the Add to calendar button
9. A confirmation message should be displayed and the events should appear in your calendar.

From the desktop (via the https://familywall.com website):

1. Go to familywall.com and log in with your credentials

2. From the menu on the left, go to the Calendar section

3. If a Calendars panel is not visible on the right side of the screen, click on the Calendar icon on the top-right
4. Press the Import events from ICS button
5. Press the Via URL option
6. Paste the URL you copied from Cozi and press the Import button
7. A preview is displayed so you can check the content before everything is imported.
8. Press the Add to calendar button
9. A confirmation message should be displayed and the events should appear in your calendar.
