The location service depends on many parameters. To efficiently locate other family members, a few requirements are needed on their device.
If the device you want to locate is an iOS:
- Good network coverage (WiFi helps)
- "Power Saving" device function disabled
- location access enabled (Settings -> Privacy-> Location Services-> On)
- location-enabled for FamilyWall (Settings -> scroll down to FamilyWall -> Location -> Always)
If the device you want to locate is an Android :
- Good network coverage (WiFi helps)
- the location on from the device settings, Locating method set to High accuracy
- "Power Saving" device function disabled
- location access enabled (Settings -> Apps -> FamilyWall -> Permissions -> Location )
